Costs
Assuming matters proceed smoothly to completion we charge a fixed fee of £850 plus VAT and disbursements, electronic money transfer fee £30 plus VAT per each electronic money transfer.
However, every transaction is different and if it is a complicated transaction, we charge an hourly fee of £250.00 plus VAT and this will be agreed upon with you at the time of instructions. VAT
Some disbursements attract VAT and others do not. Whether a disbursement attracts VAT, depends on whether the organisation you have to pay is charging VAT, and we will inform you if that is the case. The rate of VAT is subject to change by the government, and the figure quoted is that which is currently applicable at 20%.
Stamp Duty
This depends on the purchase price and whether you own other properties.

Timescales
The average transaction takes about 4-8 weeks. However, this may vary and could be quicker or longer depending on the issues encountered in the process. For example, when there are related dependent sales or purchases, the timescale may be longer,
Commercial Conveyancing
Our team understands the importance to clients for their conveyance to be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our work is done in a high standard, ensuring that our clients are fully kept aware at each stage of the conveyance and are updated on every progress in their matter.
We offer services in commercial leases and these include:
Licence Agreement, Transfer of Equity, Business Lease, Acting for Freeholder, Purchase of Freehold.
Our fees for commercial leases are £1,200.00 plus VAT.
Our fees to look over and advise on lease are £500.00 plus VAT
